Amazon Recieved Patent for a Flying Warehouse

“Airborne Fullfilment Center” is what Amazon is calling their warehouse in the sky.  They received a patent back on April 5th, 2016 that will allow them to put a huge blimp in the sky that flies at 45,000 ft, at about the max altitude of commercial airlines, that holds people’s orders.  Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, or UAVs, on the blimp will glide their way down to deliver the product to you, then fly to a central landing location.  They UAVs will then be picked up and flown back to the AFC via shuttles that will also carry supplies, fuel, and workers.  Yeah, workers.  How big is this thing going to be?!

Here’s a link to the patent.
